This is a hand painted writing desk. One drawer and covered in beautiful gold stencil and trim. The brown wood, contrary to the black with gold accents is a very satisfying color combination. This desk is small enough to fit into a college dorm room for something as simple as homework, but it’s big enough to put in a room as an area dedicated to writing or reading. It is inviting and motivating. Chair does have a flaw, easily repaired.
